Course Overview:What does DOSH™️ offer?
DOSH™️ (Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health) is a safety program initiated by the PSC® . The training content and curriculum are exclusively designed to ensure that it can be followed and understood by people from across countries and by staff at different levels of their career. DOSH™️ recognizes that every individual is warranted to work in a safe and secure environment; and at the same time, it is the moral responsibility of every individual that none of their actions create disruption and discrepancies for rest of the workforce.What are the objectives of DOSH™️?
DOSH™️ aims to enhance the skills, aptitude, and technical knowledge of the candidates with a course content that is tailored-made to suit industry-specific requirements. Staff of an organization is educated on industrial health, work hygiene, and accidental prevention techniques. Creating awareness when it comes to safety audits and health and safety management is critical, which is the main focus of DOSH™️. To enable a safe occupational environment, knowledge on risk assessment and management procedures is necessary and DOSH™️ ensures that the candidates are proficient in all risk assessment and safety management modules.
Modules
You need to clear five theory papers and a practical assessment:
Paper 1: INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY – I
Paper 2: INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY – II
Paper 3: INTERNATIONAL WORKPLACE SAFETY – I
Paper 4: INTERNATIONAL WORKPLACE SAFETY – II
Paper 5: ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Duration: Complete within One Year
Fees: 35,000/- PKR
Is this Diploma can done in E-Learning / Distance / Part-time?
It is recommended that candidates entered for the International Diploma have:
either a Certificate-level qualification in occupational safety and health;
or an alternative appropriate qualification in a related sector;
or appropriate experience in a health and safety role;
and a level of literacy and numeracy adequate to cope with their assessments.
This recommendation is intended to ensure that all candidates who enter for the International Diploma can undertake the assessments with a reasonable expectation of success.
This Occupational Health & Safety education program is via E-learning with certificate of completion will be provided PSC®, promoted by the Govt. of Pakistan.
